Preschool Japanese Language Instructor (5 hours / Central) [EL]

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver interactive and enjoyable Japanese language learning experiences for young children.
• Encourage confidence, curiosity, and active participation through engaging classroom activities.
• Use creative teaching tools such as music, storytelling, games, role-play, and visual materials to support language acquisition.
• Observe and document children's attendance, learning milestones, and developmental progress.
• Collaborate with fellow educators to provide a holistic learning experience.
• Maintain open communication with parents regarding children's learning progress when appropriate.
• Recognise potential learning challenges and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to provide additional support.

Requirements

• Experience teaching Japanese language to children in an educational setting.
• Knowledge of early childhood learning and development practices.
• Passion for supporting children's growth and language learning journey.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Reliable and able to fulfil the agreed working schedule.
• Functional English communication skills for interaction with staff and families.
