Electrical & Automation Manager ($6500/$7500)

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Electrical & Automation Manager to lead electrical engineering, industrial automation, controls integration, and maintenance operations across our projects and facilities. The successful candidate will oversee system reliability, commissioning activities, PLC/SCADA integration, and continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring compliance with safety and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage electrical and automation engineering activities for projects and operations.
Oversee design, installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical and automation systems.
Manage PLC, SCADA, HMI, industrial networking, and control systems integration.
Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis for electrical and automation faults.
Coordinate with vendors, contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
Continuous improvement on default system programming and innovations in new functionality.
Ensure compliance with applicable electrical standards, safety regulations, and company procedures.
Prepare and review technical documentation, method statements, FAT/SAT reports, and commissioning records.
Monitor project schedules, budgets, risks, and resource planning.
Drive preventive maintenance and reliability improvement programs.
Lead and mentor engineering and technical teams.
Support cybersecurity and network segmentation practices for industrial control systems where applicable.
Perform other duties as and when assigned.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, or related discipline.
Minimum 5–10 years of relevant experience in electrical and industrial automation environments.
Strong knowledge of:
PLC systems (e.g. Siemens, Rockwell Automation, Schneider Electric)
SCADA/HMI systems
Industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP, OPC, BACnet, etc.)
LV electrical systems and control panels
Experience in commissioning, troubleshooting, and system integration.
Familiarity with airport systems, manufacturing plants, logistics systems, or industrial facilities is an advantage.
Strong leadership, communication, and project coordination skills.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Willing to travel overseas
