FACADE COORDINATOR

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Façade Coordinator to oversee and coordinate façade works for construction projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that façade design, fabrication, and installation are executed smoothly, in compliance with project specifications, timelines, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate all façade-related activities from design development through to installation and completion
• Liaise with consultants, main contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure alignment on technical and project requirements
• Review and manage façade shop drawings, method statements, and material submissions
• Monitor site progress and ensure façade works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings and specifications
• Identify and resolve technical issues related to façade systems (e.g., curtain wall, cladding, glazing systems)
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, project specifications, and safety standards
• Attend site meetings, coordination meetings, and provide progress updates
• Coordinate mock-ups, testing (e.g., water-tightness, air permeability), and inspections
• Assist in project scheduling and ensure timely delivery of façade components
• Work closely with QS and procurement teams for material and cost control

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Building, or related discipline
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in façade or building envelope works in Singapore
• Experience with aluminium, glazing, curtain wall, and cladding systems is highly preferred

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of façade systems, materials, and installation methods
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical details
• Familiar with local standards and regulations (e.g., BCA requirements, SS standards)
• Knowledge of façade performance testing requirements is an advantage

Software Skills

• Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of BIM (e.g., Revit) will be an added advantage
• Familiar with MS Office (Excel, Word, Project)

Soft Skills

• Strong coordination and communication skills
• Detail-oriented with good problem-solving ability
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Team player with a proactive and responsible attitude
