Job Summary

The Quality Inspector is responsible for conducting in-process and final quality inspections to ensure products and assemblies meet customer specifications, engineering requirements, and company quality standards. The role will support quality activities related to gas line and gas box fabrication, assembly, and installation while maintaining accurate inspection records and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform in-process and final quality inspections for gas line and gas box manufacturing, assembly, and related activities.
  • Inspect incoming materials and review supplier documentation to verify compliance with specifications and quality requirements.
  • Conduct dimensional and visual inspections using precision measuring instruments and inspection tools.
  • Verify product conformity against engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Prepare and maintain inspection records, quality reports, and related documentation.
  • Identify and report non-conformances, and work with relevant departments on corrective actions.
  • Ensure inspection activities are carried out in accordance with established quality procedure sand customer requirements.
  • Support internal audits, customer audits, and quality improvement initiatives when required.
  • Maintain proper traceability and documentation of inspection results.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the superior.

Requirements

  • Minimum NITEC, Higher NITEC, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Precision Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience in Quality Control or Quality Inspection within manufacturing, precision engineering, semiconductor, or related industries.
  • Proficient in the use of precision measuring equipment such as micrometers, height gauges, and other inspection instruments.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision and also function effectively as a team player.
  • Good problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Able to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders in a multicultural work environment.
  • Willing to work overtime when required to support operational and project needs.
  • Willing to work at Changi North Crescent, Singapore.
