Logistics Officer (Airfreight Operations)

Our esteemed client in the Transportation/ Logistics industry is seeking a Logistics Officer (Airfreight Operations) to join their dynamic team:

• Employment Type: Permanent
• Position: Logistics Officer (Airfreight Operations)
• Location: Changi Cargo Complex
• Working Hours: 5.5 days (Mon to Fri, 9am to 6pm; Sat, 9am to 1pm) – Alternate Sat after probation
• Salary Package: Basic + Bonus

Job Responsibilities

• Manage and execute daily workflows for both airfreight import and export operations.
• Liaise with airline carriers, overseas agents, transport providers, and customs authorities.
• Prepare essential shipping documents, including Air Waybills (AWB) and the declaration of import/export permits.
• Monitor real-time cargo movements.
• Facilitate shipment bookings and secure necessary cargo space allocations with carriers.
• Maintain proactive communication with customers and vendors regarding shipment milestones and status updates.
• Ensure all operations comply with Dangerous Goods (DG) safety protocols and airfreight regulations.

• At least 1 year of related experience in airfreight operations.
• Familiar with airfreight documentation and customs procedure.
• Proficient in MS Office and freight management systems.
• Able to work on Saturdays (half day).
