QC Technician

Our esteemed client in the Chemical Manufacturing industry is seeking a QC Technician to join their dynamic team:
- Employment Type: Permanent
- Position: QC Technician
- Location: West (Transport provided from designated pickup point)
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, office hours during the first 3 months; thereafter, the schedule will change to a 12-hour rotating shift.
- Salary Package: Up to $2,900 + AWS + Bonus
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct daily Quality Control (QC) testing for raw materials, in-process manufacturing, and recurring inspections.
- Assist in root cause analysis for product complaints and production rejects, review records, and conduct stability studies.
- Support supervisors in meeting Quality Assurance (QA) targets, such as First-Time Right (FTR) and performance indices.
- Assist in upholding ISO 9001 standards, managing documentation, conducting internal audits, and ensuring good laboratory practices.
- Minimum a Nitec in a Chemical-related discipline.
- Prior QC experience within a chemical manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
- Possess prior experience in operating lab equipment such as Gas Chromatographs, Differential Scanning Calorimeters, Autotitrators, and Karl Fischer Titrators.
- Comfortable working on a 12-hour rotating shift schedule.
