Scrum Master

· The Scrum Master or equivalent shall be the single point of contact and ensure that the deliverables are in accordance with the specifications stated in the Contract and completed on schedule.

· The Scrum Master or equivalent shall facilitate or delegate the facilitation of Agile Ceremonies and discussion among the Agile Development Team, the Product Owner, and any other parties that the Product Owner may specify.

· The Scrum Master or equivalent shall be responsible for the quality of work produced by the Agile Development Team.

· The Scrum Master or equivalent shall guide and coach the Agile Development Team and removing Impediments for the Agile Development Team, including but not limited to impediments relating to logistic support, document preparation, and operational start-up.

· The Scrum Master or equivalent shall measure the performance of the Agile Development Team and producing Agile Artifacts for metrics, including but not limited to tracking the progress of development and other responsibilities in accordance with the Requirements Specification; working with and assisting the Product Owner to maintain, review and update the Product Backlog, which shall contain a prioritised list of all the Product Backlog Items.

· The Scrum Master or equivalent shall work with the Product Owner to facilitate Product Backlog Refinement sessions unless it is taken up by Business Analyst, UXD or other team members.

· At the request of Authority, the Scrum Master or equivalent shall participate in review meetings with the Authority. The location and time and venue of such reviews shall be decided by the Authority. Reviews of each milestone shall be incorporated at suitable junctures by the Authority throughout the Contract. The Scrum Master or equivalent shall attend all reviews with the Authority.

Requirements

· The Scrum Master or equivalent shall ensure that all review discussions (including any decisions arrived at the review) are recorded so that there is proper-recorded trace of discussions (including any decisions arrived at the review) between the Authority and the Agile Development Team.

· The Scrum Master or equivalent shall ensure that confidentiality and security is observed by the Contractor’s personnel, in accordance with the Contract, the Official Secrets Act 1935, and the Authority’s instructions and directives.

· The Scrum Master or equivalent shall maintain records of all development and maintenance activities including proper accounting and administrative records of all Services performed during the Contract. The type and format of the records shall be subjected to the written approval of the Authority.

· The Scrum Master or equivalent shall ensure that all review discussions (including any decisions arrived at the review) so that there is proper-recorded trace of discussions between the Authority and the Agile Development Team. The form and media of such recordings, and the period the recordings are to be kept shall be used on agreed SGTS tools and platforms such as JIRA and Confluence or equivalent.

· The Scrum Master or equivalent shall adhere to Agile Software development manifesto and educate and support the Product Owner with respect to agile development practices.

· The Scrum Master or equivalent shall remove impediments to improve the velocity of the development team, while upholding and enhancing the qualities of deliverables.
