About the Role

The role also supports the Head of Claims, Corporate Solutions in matters of Governance, Fraud/Waste/Abuse, Intermediary/client communications and transformation projects.

System Projects & Innovation

Governance

  • Lead in matters of internal auditing and governance of claims operations.
  • Work with the Claims internal auditing team to ensure all Dashboards and reports are timely review.
  • Implement, Direct and Monitor any corrective/mitigation actions that arise from these reviews pertaining to Claims operations.
  • Support team to check on alignment with committed regulatory commitments and actions. Active management of resources required to support claims functions

Fraud Waste Abuse

  • Co-Lead on FWA matters and the SIU Team based in OSS.
  • Plan and strategise to ensure KPIs are met in this area.
  • Responsible for cases handled by CS Claims SIU team. This includes timely reporting to R&C, Senior Management/Exco, Regulators, Singapore Police force and similar claims cases.
  • Recommending, implementing and advocating changes necessary to avoid or mitigate FWA. This may include sharing on product design etc.
  • Communications to client/intermediaries on specific cases. This includes planning to recover losses by collaborating with client/intermediaries and any other parties we work with on the case.
  • Communicate with overseas partners, providers in the course of FWA work.
  • Undertake analysis, strategizing from such analytics and presenting/ reporting on FWA to R&C, Finance, Exco as necessary.

Intermediary & Client communication

  • Organize, plan and manage all Communications & feedback of changes to claim operations and projects roll out.
  • Deliver presentations on all projects to be implemented.
  • Support Project Lead to manage all feedback and provide responses to close all feedback.
  • Management of client relationships while handling sensitive FWA matters

Product Design/Development

  • Review policy document, set up and processes for new products
  • Collaborate with other CS teams to ensure Claims can deliver the desired coverage according to specifications required.
  • Focus on Cost Containment, to ensure that the product/benefits address cost containment goals of CS.
  • Benefit profitability of the product to shape the product design and business operations to manage claims loss ratios

Projects

  • Undertake and studies, review, projects assigned towards Claims initiatives
  • Support OCR/CVD project (or similar projects) as a team member
  • Support Agentic AI initiatives on FWA work
  • Manage all project external communications
  • Lead and drive AI initiatives moving forward in line with group and business strategic directions

Requirements

  • Experience of 8-10 years or more in an employee benefits role.
  • Claims background will be an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
