Procurement Officer – Data Entry & Information Management
Role Overview
The Procurement Officer will be responsible for maintaining accurate procurement records, entering supplier and purchase data into company systems, and ensuring all procurement information is up-to-date for reporting and compliance purposes. This role supports the procurement team by handling administrative tasks and ensuring smooth information flow.
Key Responsibilities
Data entry: Input purchase orders, supplier details, invoices, and contract information into procurement systems.
Information updates: Regularly update vendor databases, pricing lists, and procurement records to reflect current information.
Document management: Organize and maintain procurement files, ensuring compliance with company policies and audit requirements.
Reporting support: Generate and update procurement-related reports for management review.
Vendor coordination: Assist in updating supplier contact details and ensuring vendor compliance documentation is current.
System accuracy: Verify data integrity across procurement platforms and correct discrepancies promptly.
Skills & Qualifications
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data management.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and procurement software/ERP systems.
Good organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
Prior experience in procurement administration or data entry is preferred.
