Junior Engineer (Design Consultancy Office)

Job Summary

We are seeking a Junior Engineer with up to 3 years of experience in a design consultancy office. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. You will contribute to detailed structural design and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver quality engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed design of structural steel, reinforced concrete, piles, foundations, deep excavation/ERSS, water reticulation, and civil infrastructure projects
• Prepare and draft technical documentation including calculations, specifications, and reports to support design decisions
• Coordinate effectively with clients, authorities, drafters, and contractors to ensure project alignment and compliance
• Apply first-principle engineering knowledge to verify software results and perform manual calculations such as shear, moment, torsion, and effective length determination
• Utilize Microsoft Office and CAD software to produce design deliverables and documentation
• Design structural elements in compliance with Eurocodes to meet regulatory and safety standards

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Operate engineering software such as STAAD.Pro, ETABS, and PLAXIS to enhance design accuracy and efficiency
