Software Engineer (Y)***

This will be a 2-years direct contract position.

Responsibilities

• Design, development, and implementation of complex, scalable, and secure software applications across the full software development lifecycle.
• Produce clean, maintainable, and efficient code in various programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, Go, JavaScript, C#).
• Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Mentor junior engineers to foster a culture of technical excellence.
• Troubleshoot and debug production issues
• Ensure high availability and performance of critical systems.
• Support technical documentation, architectural diagrams, and best practices.
• Work with product managers, UX designers, and other engineers to define requirements, architect solutions, and deliver high-quality products.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends.
• Practitioner of agile development processes, including stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• At least 5 years of progressive experience in software development.
• Strong in at least two modern programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, Go, JavaScript, C#) and their relevant frameworks.
• Experience in web development with Node.js background, preferably with Next.js and AI-assisted development
• Working knowledge of software design principles, data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems.
• Experience with government or public sector projects advantageous.
