Operations Manager

One of our Insurance customers is looking for an operations manager.

Responsibilities:

• Support outsourcing and offshoring initiatives in the region
• Support global strategic projects in the region
• Liaise with relevant business unit managers to ensure operations issues impacting the business is identified
• Support underwriting process reviews to identify areas of improvement and automation opportunities
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors
• Assist in negotiating contracts and agreements to ensure favourable terms to organization.
• Conduct vendor performance evaluations and provide feedback
• Ensure vendor is compliant with company's policies, procedures and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and international stakeholders to identify their needs and requirements
• Develop and implement vendor management strategies to drive cost savings and efficiency
• Manage vendor-related issues and resolve conflicts
• Analyze data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement
• Tracking and monitoring of performance metrics in operations teams
• Analyze vendor performance data and provide insights for improvement

Requirements:

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in insurance operations and vendor management
• A proven track record inleading operations projects and initiatives
• Experience in overseeing outsourced arrangements
• Data-driven approach and ability to analyse and interpret data
• Ability to communicate clearly to all levels in the organization, with ability to influence stakeholders
• A hands-on approach, with high energy levels and self-motivated.
