Lead, Industry & Research Collaborations (Education, West)

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented professional to lead the administration and governance of industry and research collaborations.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the full lifecycle management of College-level research agreements, including pre-contract advisory, drafting, internal clearance, negotiation support, execution, amendments, extensions, and project closure.
• Advise faculty and stakeholders on appropriate agreement structures, templates, and collaboration processes, ensuring alignment with University policies and governance requirements.
• Review agreements and key contractual clauses, identifying governance, compliance, operational, intellectual property, liability, and risk considerations prior to legal submission.
• Coordinate with Schools, faculty, central offices, and external stakeholders to facilitate timely negotiations, issue resolution, execution of agreements, and proactive management of bottlenecks or risks.
• Support College-level research initiatives and partnerships through the preparation of strategic reports, briefing notes, presentations, and summaries for leadership, senior management, and funding agencies.

Requirements:

• Possesses a Bachelor's Degree with 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in research administration, research agreements, research partnerships.
• Experience in managing complex research or industry agreements and engaging multiple internal and external stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Singapore’s research, innovation, and enterprise (RIE) ecosystem, including public-sector research funding and collaboration frameworks, would be advantageous.
