About the Role
You will act as a key operational support within the HR team, ensuring payroll accuracy, compliance with statutory requirements, and smooth execution of HR processes across the employee lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle monthly payroll processing via external payroll vendors, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with Singapore and overseas statutory requirements
- Review payroll outputs including new hires, resignations, salary adjustments, bonuses, and ad-hoc payments
- Validate payroll data against supporting documents and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Coordinate with regional payroll vendors to ensure accurate payroll processing for overseas employees in compliance with local labour and tax regulations
- Handle statutory submissions including CPF, government-paid leave claims, NS claims, maternity, paternity, and childcare leave
- Prepare annual tax reporting, tax clearance, and employee income-related declarations
- Generate payroll reports and provide monthly payroll analysis to Finance
- Manage employee salary deductions, loan repayments, and directors’ remuneration administration
- Support full employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, offboarding, and employee records management
- Maintain HRIS data accuracy and electronic personnel files
- Prepare HR documentation such as employment letters, confirmation letters, and visa-related documents
- Administer employee benefits, insurance claims, and welfare programmes
- Coordinate work pass applications, renewals, and related HR administrative matters
- Support HR reporting, government surveys, and statutory submissions
- Process HR-related invoices and liaise with Finance on payments
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes through digitalisation and automation
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, employment regulations, and data integrity standards
- Support HR projects and handle employee enquiries as required
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline
- Minimum 2 years of HR operations and payroll experience, ideally with external payroll vendors
- Strong understanding of Singapore payroll regulations and statutory requirements
- Regional payroll exposure will be an added advantage
- Experience with HRIS systems (e.g. Workday or similar) preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and MS Office applications
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information professionally
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced multinational environment
