Engineering Manager

Role Objective:
As Engineering Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for project communication, discipline coordination, scheme discussion and formulation, based on the client designated entity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing project or task management functions as delegated by the Project Manager, including customer liaison, coordination of technical meetings, and general project supervision and coordination.
- Responsible for the organization and management of the detailed design implementation, including managing the project's safety, quality, progress and cost;
- Review and oversee implementation of the overall project plan and decomposed operation plan;
- Responsible for the establishment of the project team and the internal role division and assessment of the project team members;
- Review and approve project drawings, procedures and schemes;
- Assist in monitoring status of project progression;
- Responsible for organizing project acceptance, project completion documents and work summary;
- Formulation and implementation of project operation strategy and scheme;
- Manage coordination and handling of major technical issues of the project;
- Strictly implement and reinforce the company's quality and management system;
- Any other tasks as assigned by the management.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor degree or above;
- More than 15 years of professional technical management experience in offshore oil and gas field engineering, with at least 5 years experience as lead of Middle East offshore project
- Those with prior work experience in internationally renowned engineering companies is highly preferred;
- Familiarity with oil and gas field development knowledge, offshore engineering knowledge, technical standards and specifications (including but not limited to API, ASME, SHELL, Qatar Energy corporate standards, Saudi Aramco standards), industry regulations and policies, and those with Middle East project experience will be preferred;
- Familiarity with international project management systems, client design concept, strong technical plan development and controllability
- Able to timely identify and solve problems, implement control measures to eliminate or reduce risks
- Fluent in spoken and written English;
- Good organization, communication and judgment skills
