IT Manager, Applications & Digital Transformation (Bank)
- Key Responsibilities
- Lead the management, performance, and continuous enhancement of the organisation's business applications, IT systems, and technology platforms.
- Partner with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement, digitalisation, and technology-enabled transformation.
- Drive the evaluation, implementation, and optimisation of enterprise systems, ensuring alignment with business and operational objectives.
- Oversee system upgrades, integrations, testing activities, and technology rollouts to ensure successful delivery and user adoption.
- Establish and monitor IT operational standards, service levels, system performance, and risk controls.
- Lead cybersecurity, business continuity, disaster recovery, and compliance initiatives to safeguard business operations.
- Manage external vendors, technology partners, and service providers to ensure effective service delivery and project execution.
- Develop and maintain IT policies, governance frameworks, technical documentation, and operational procedures in line with industry best practices.
- Provide regular reporting and insights to management on technology performance, project progress, risks, and improvement initiatives.
- Champion innovation, automation, and digital transformation programmes that enhance organisational effectiveness and scalability.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
- Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Min 10–12 years of relevant experience across IT applications, systems management, technology projects, and business engagement.
- Relevant technology experience gained within a Financial Services environment is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated success in leading enterprise system implementations, process improvement initiatives, and cross-functional projects.
- Strong understanding of IT governance, cybersecurity, business continuity, vendor management, and technology operations.
- Proven ability to engage stakeholders across business and technology functions and translate business requirements into practical solutions.
- Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and project management capabilities.
- Strategic, proactive, and able to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
