Role Description
Manage day-to-day craft beer production operations, including the operation of brewing equipment, centrifuge, and pasteurizer.
Monitor and oversee fermentation processes to ensure product consistency and quality standards are met.
Perform cellaring activities, including dry hopping, beer transfers, and tank management.
Conduct cleaning and sanitization of tanks, pipelines, and brewing equipment in accordance with hygiene and safety standards.
Carry out physical and chemical analysis to support quality assurance and process control.
Ensure compliance with workplace safety procedures, brewery protocols, and quality control measures.
Assist in packaging operations, including kegging, canning, and bottling processes where required.
Maintain overall cleanliness and organization of the brewery and production areas.
Collaborate closely with the brewing team to optimize brewing recipes, production efficiency, and operational processes.
Support inventory management and monitoring of brewing materials and production supplies.
Qualifications
Knowledge of brewing equipment operation, fermentation processes, and beer production techniques
Experience in cellaring, cleaning, and maintaining brewing tanks and equipment
Understanding of quality control practices and the ability to perform basic chemical and physical analysis in brewing
Strong team collaboration skills and ability to communicate effectively in a professional setting
Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Previous experience in a brewing role or a related field is highly desirable
A degree or certification in brewing or a relevant field would be an advantage
