Sous Chef

We are seeking an experienced Kitchen Chef to join a new modern Japanese Izakaya concept opening in Telok Ayer. (New Restaurant opening in July- August)

Responsibilities

  • Assist Head Chef in daily kitchen operations
  • Prepare and execute Japanese hot kitchen dishes to company standards
  • Maintain food quality, consistency and presentation
  • Ensure proper food safety and hygiene practices
  • Monitor inventory and stock levels
  • Ensure smooth service during lunch and dinner operations

Requirements

  • Experience in Japanese restaurants, izakaya, robata, kappo or contemporary Japanese dining
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced opening team environment
  • Positive attitude and team player
  • Food Hygiene Certificate preferred
