Teacher Assistant

Teacher Assistant – Early Intervention Centre

We are looking for a caring, patient, and responsible Teacher Assistant to support children with developmental delays and special educational needs in a structured early intervention setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in conducting individual and group learning activities.

• Support children’s communication, social, academic, behavioural, and self-help goals.

• Implement visual schedules, prompting, reinforcement, and behaviour-support strategies.

• Assist with classroom routines, transitions, toileting, feeding, and hygiene when required.

• Prepare learning materials and maintain a safe, clean, and organised classroom.

• Record simple observations and provide feedback to the teaching team.

• Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, supervisors, and parents.

Requirements

• Certificate or Diploma in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, Psychology, Community Care, or a related field is preferred.

• Experience working with children with special needs is an advantage.

• Fresh graduates and candidates without experience are welcome to apply.

• Patient, compassionate, reliable, and willing to learn.

• Comfortable supporting children with personal care and behaviours of concern.

• Able to communicate effectively and work well in a team.
