Manager, Technical Services

We are looking for a skilled Technical Services Manager to lead the delivery of audiovisual solutions across various projects and events. This role requires effective engagement with clients and stakeholders to ensure outstanding service and project execution.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full cycle of audiovisual project delivery, from inquiry through to execution and post-project review.

• Consult with clients to comprehend audiovisual requirements and propose solutions that align with operational and budgetary parameters.

• Coordinate project quotations, proposals, and delivery with designated audiovisual partners and service providers.

• Act as the main contact for all audiovisual matters throughout the project lifecycle.

• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to facilitate planning, setup, testing, and execution processes.

• Review technical specifications related to audio, visual, lighting, staging, webcasting, and associated production elements.

• Monitor project budgets, validate vendor invoices, and ensure financial accuracy.

• Identify potential risks proactively and implement measures to mitigate them for successful project delivery.

• Oversee multiple concurrent projects while maintaining high service quality and stakeholder satisfaction.

• Foster strong relationships with clients, vendors, and operational teams.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in audiovisual services, technical production, broadcast operations, venue operations, or a related field.

• Strong knowledge of professional AV systems and live event production processes.

• Experience in managing AV vendors, production partners, and technical contractors.

• Proven project management and stakeholder management abilities.

• Commercially astute, with experience in handling quotations, budgets, and contract management.

• Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
