Therapy Assistant

Join our dynamic allied health team as an Allied Health Assistant, providing essential support in community and home-based care. This role promises a fulfilling blend of clinical assistance and administrative coordination.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of allied health professionals, including physiotherapists, occupational therapists, dietitians, medical social workers, and speech therapists.

• Assist with administrative tasks to facilitate seamless operation of healthcare services.

• Provide patient-facing support to enhance the therapeutic process.

• Manage and maintain equipment to ensure readiness for treatment.

• Contribute to an environment that prioritizes patient care and collaboration.

Requirements

• Minimum educational qualification of GCE ‘N’ or ‘O’ levels.

• Certification in Rehabilitation Therapy, Work Study Diploma in Rehabilitation Care, WSQ Care Assistance, or other relevant healthcare or social care certifications is preferred.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective interaction with patients, caregivers, and family members.

• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

• Compassionate demeanor and sensitivity to the feelings of others.

• Prior experience in a healthcare or community care setting is advantageous.
