Room Attendant

A Room Attendant, also known as a housekeeping attendant, is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene, and organization of guest rooms and sometimes public areas in hotels or accommodations. Their main goal is to ensure guests have a comfortable and pleasant stay.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning and Sanitizing: Thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing guest rooms, including bathrooms, making beds, changing linens, and replenishing amenities.
  • Restocking Supplies: Ensuring rooms are adequately stocked with items like toiletries, linens, and guest supplies.
  • Maintaining Cleanliness: Dusting, polishing furniture, vacuuming carpets, and cleaning windows and mirrors.
  • Responding to Guest Requests: Addressing guest inquiries, fulfilling requests for extra supplies, and reporting any maintenance issues.
  • Inventory Management: Keeping track of and restocking cleaning supplies and guest amenities.
