Engineering Assistant (Test)

Position Summary
We are seeking an individual who is detail-oriented and proactive in driving efficiency, maintain strict quality standards, and support engineering workflows on our production line. In this role, you will oversee day-to-day testing configurations, manage inventory organization through 5S methodologies, and actively contribute to continuous improvement (Kaizen) projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute daily 5S activities to ensure the production line is organized, safe, and fully compliant with company standards.
- Oversee the proper storage and tracking of tools, materials, and Work-in-Progress (WIP) items.
- Support internal and external audits by strictly complying with company rules, safety regulations, and operational guidelines.Lead and execute daily 5S activities to ensure the production line is organized, safe, and fully compliant with company standards.
- Handle complex test configurations and perform software loading strictly in accordance with customer specifications.
- Monitor rack test statuses closely, ensuring timely intervention and escalating issues to relevant stakeholders for swift resolution.
- Assist engineering teams with pilot run orders and collaborate to resolve product-related technical issues.
- Provide daily updates on active orders and maintain a highly organized line environment.
- Compile, analyze, and generate comprehensive daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports
- Actively participate in Kaizen and Continuous Improvement (CR) projects
- Identify and feedback issues to the production team to streamline logistics and minimize downtime
- Any other ad-hoc as assigned to support business & operational needs
Qualifications & Skills
- Familiarity with 5S principles, Kaizen, and lean manufacturing concepts
- Strong communication skills to effectively trigger related parties and collaborate across engineering, production teams and external stakeholders
- Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical/Industrial) or an equivalent discipline.
- Strong understanding of testing environments, software loading, and technical troubleshooting.
