Student Care Teacher

Job Summary

We are looking for a caring, responsible, and patient Student Care Teacher to supervise and guide primary school students after school. The teacher will support students in their daily routines, homework, enrichment activities, and character development while ensuring a safe and positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and care for students during after-school hours.
• Guide students in completing homework, spelling, reading, and school assignments.
• Plan and conduct simple educational, recreational, and character-building activities.
• Ensure students’ safety, discipline, and well-being at all times.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and conducive classroom environment.
• Monitor students’ behaviour, progress, and daily routines.
• Communicate with parents on students’ progress, behaviour, or concerns when required.
• Assist with meal times, rest periods, dismissal, and other daily centre operations.
• Work closely with colleagues and management to support centre programmes and activities.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma, or equivalent.
• Prior experience in student care, childcare, teaching, or working with children is preferred.
• Able to guide primary school students in English, Mathematics, and Chinese/Mother Tongue where applicable.
• Patient, responsible, nurturing, and passionate about working with children.
• Good communication and classroom management skills.
• First Aid certification or relevant student care training is an advantage.
