Assistant Director, Product Management - Managed Services

Responsibilities

  • Lead, strategies and develop new growth engines in Managed Services.
  • Mentor and develop a strong performance product management team.
  • Manage Product Development Life Cycle for Managed Security & Network Services including Managed WAN/LAN, WIFI & Firewall, starting from conceptualisation, product modelling, planning, development and launch.
  • Responsible for Product Business case, Budget and P&L.
  • Gain deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new product and services ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth.
  • Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners.
  • Develop product pricing, differentiation and positioning for Go-To-Market strategies.
  • Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes.
  • Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact.
  • Work closely with IT and engineering teams and internal support team (marketing, operation and billing) to deliver with quick time-to-market and optimal resources.
  • Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding.
  • Represent the company by visiting customers to solicit feedback on company products and services.
  • Identify, design and build best of breed solution platforms, ecosystem solution and vertical solutions and market segmentation for Managed Services portfolio.
  • Establish and cultivate partnerships with key partners in Managed Services to deliver differentiated managed services with unique value propositions.
  • Lead and develop product GTM strategies, Roadmaps and determine market segmenting, targeting and positioning.
  • Monitor product quality against target levels and trigger corrective actions where necessary.
  • Develop Business Case and Market Analysis for the products and services.
  • Develop, execute and monitor product processes are followed through by each stakeholder

Role Requirements

  • Proven track record of successfully developing and growing a portfolio of Managed Network & Managed Security Services.
  • Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle
  • Proven ability to develop product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management
  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job
  • Demonstrated initiative and creativity/out of the box product development.
  • Self-starter. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Good business acumen and leadership skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
