As we expand our trust advisory practice, we are looking for a specialist to take ownership of this growing business area.
Key Responsibilities
Family Office Structure & Process
- Assist in the setup and ongoing administration of family office structures — supporting entity establishment, governance documentation, and structural reviews across relevant jurisdictions
- Monitor the end-to-end process across legal, compliance, tax, and operations teams to ensure tasks are progressing on track and deadlines are met
- Act as a coordination point between internal teams and external parties to keep workflows moving
- Prepare client onboarding documentation, fee proposals, and internal administrative materials
- Support internal stakeholders (Compliance, Operations, Finance) in the smooth day-to-day administration of client structures
Finance, Tax & Audit
- Assist in the preparation and review of financial statements for managed corporate structures
- Coordinate with internal auditors for annual audits of managed structures; prepare supporting schedules and documentation as directed
- Support the preparation and filing of tax returns for managed structures across relevant jurisdictions
- Monitor CRS and FATCA reporting obligations and assist in ensuring timely compliance filings
- Assist in identifying tax planning considerations and escalate findings to senior advisors as appropriate
Compliance & Risk
- Support the Compliance team to ensure KYC and due diligence requirements are maintained, particularly where there are changes to client structures or circumstances
- Assist in monitoring fiduciary and regulatory risks across managed structures and flag issues for escalation
- Help drive closure of identified issues through follow-up on agreed action plans
Trust Support
- Develop and maintain a working knowledge of trust structures across key jurisdictions (BVI, Cayman, Singapore, Hong Kong) to support internal queries and day-to-day administration
- Assist with trust-related documentation and compliance filings under the guidance of senior team members
- Flag trust-related issues or changes in client circumstances to the appropriate team for review
General
- Assist with training materials for the sales department
- Stay informed on market trends and regulatory developments; support ad hoc projects as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and above in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in corporate administration, trust administration, private banking operations, tax support, or related professional services
- Exposure to corporate and/or trust structures across multiple jurisdictions (BVI, Cayman, Singapore, Hong Kong) — good to have; willingness to learn is essential
- Some hands-on experience in financial statement preparation, tax filing support, and/or audit coordination
- Basic familiarity with CRS, FATCA, KYC/AML requirements
- Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks and follow up independently
- Good communicator — able to liaise clearly with internal teams and external parties
- Professional qualifications in progress or completed preferred: ACCA / CPA / ATP / ICSA or equivalent
