Investor Relations & Fundraising Manager

Position Overview

SIMONS TECHNOLOGY PTE. LTD. is in the process of launching a Singapore Variable Capital Company (VCC) fund managed by a Singapore-licensed fund management company. The fund assets will be held by an independent licensed custodian and will primarily invest in digital asset-related exchange-traded funds (ETFs), digital asset ecosystem ETFs, and U.S.-listed equities.

The Investor Relations & Fundraising Manager will be responsible for investor relationship management, capital raising initiatives, and business development activities. The successful candidate will work closely with the investment team to support the growth of the fund's assets under management.

Target Fund Size: USD 100 million

Sponsor Capital Commitment: USD 30–50 million

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related discipline;

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the financial services industry, including but not limited to:

• Private Banking;

• Wealth Management;

• Securities Brokerage;

• Investment Banking;

• Asset Management;

• Family Offices;

• Fund Distribution and Capital Raising;

• Fluent in both English and Mandarin, with the ability to use both languages effectively in a business environment, as the role involves communication with Mandarin-speaking investors and stakeholders;

• Familiarity with Chinese business culture and investor communication practices;

• Basic understanding of digital assets and related investment products;

• Knowledge of, or willingness to develop expertise in, Bitcoin ETFs, digital asset-related ETFs, and U.S. equity markets;

• Proven ability to present investment strategies and fund offerings to high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs), ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNWIs), family offices, and institutional investors;

• Strong business development, networking, and relationship management skills;

• Willingness to travel and work flexible hours where business needs require.

Key Responsibilities

Investor Relations

• Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing investors;

• Provide regular updates to investors regarding fund performance, market developments, and portfolio insights prepared by the investment team;

• Respond to investor enquiries and coordinate ongoing investor servicing activities;

• Organise investor events, roadshows, presentations, and marketing initiatives;

• Coordinate investor redemption and withdrawal processes in accordance with fund procedures and applicable regulations.

Fundraising and Business Development

• Introduce the fund's investment strategy and product offerings to prospective investors;

• Identify and cultivate new investor relationships and distribution opportunities;

• Build and maintain networks with HNWIs, UHNWIs, family offices, and institutional investors;

• Manage investor outreach activities and support fundraising initiatives throughout the subscription process;

• Coordinate investor onboarding procedures, including KYC and AML documentation requirements, in collaboration with relevant service providers and compliance teams.

Note: This role does not participate in investment decision-making or trade execution. These responsibilities are undertaken by the appointed investment professionals and portfolio management team.

Compensation and Benefits

• Monthly Base Salary: SGD 10,000;

• Performance-based fundraising incentive scheme;

• Employee Share Option Plan (ESOP) participation, subject to the Company's equity plan rules and vesting arrangements;

• Medical and corporate insurance benefits;

• Employment Pass sponsorship may be considered for eligible candidates, subject to prevailing Singapore Ministry of Manpower requirements.
