AutoCAD Drafter

RESPONSIBILITY

• Utilises knowledge of various machines, engineering practices, mathematics, building materials and other physical sciences to complete drawings;
• Verify that drawings are accurate, legible, and follow applicable industry codes;
• Create detailed drawings as per clients’ specifications;
• Work directly with project manager and 3D designer to develop drawings, schematics, and diagrams for projects;
• Uses computer assisted design/drafting equipment and software to develop designs;
• Creates and revises fabrication drawings;
• Drafts detailed multi-view drawings of products;
• Modify existing drawings to reflect necessary changes;

REQUIREMENTS

• Self-motivated and able to work independently and on a team;
• Detail oriented, organized with the ability to handle multiple ongoing projects and meet deadlines;
• Knowledge of drafting standards, mathematics, and engineering technology;
• The ability to pay attention to detail and follow work instructions;
• Able to effectively communicate and work collaboratively with various departments such as project, production and designer;
• Ability to work in a fast paced, high volume environment;
• Degree or Diploma in Architectural or Civil Engineering or Building Information Technology
• Minimium 1 year of relevant experience in construction industry
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Sketch Up & 3D Max
