Halal Assurance Officer(Part-Time)

Location: Tai Seng
Working Schedule: 3 days per week (Flexible)
Working Hours: Approximately 3 hours per day
Salary: $800 - $1,000 per month
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update Halal Assurance System (HAS) / HalMQ documentation.
- Verify ingredients, suppliers, and Halal certificates to ensure compliance with MUIS requirements.
- Prepare documentation and support MUIS audits and Halal certification renewals.
- Conduct on-site Halal compliance checks and staff briefings when required.
- Liaise with suppliers, certifying bodies, and internal stakeholders on Halal-related matters.
- Ensure adherence to Halal standards and company compliance requirements.
Requirements
- Muslim candidate (as required by MUIS for the Halal Assurance Officer role).
- Certified Halal Assurance Officer recognised by MUIS is an advantage; training can be provided for suitable candidates.
- Experience with MUIS Halal certification, compliance, and audit processes is preferred.
- Background in F&B, food manufacturing, or food operations is preferred.
- Meticulous, organized, and able to work independently.
