JOB PURPOSE
As a key team member of the GC&B team focusing on the Medical Job Family, work with the GC&B Leads in the planning, formulation and review of C&B programmes and policies at the Group level, and provide overview from a Group perspective to support all NHG Health’s institutions in attracting, motivating and retaining the right talents to support business strategies.
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
C&B Partner, Medical
- Support the GC&B Leads in all sectoral related C&B matters that will impact the medical job family in NHG Health.
- Support C&B reviews and projects independently.
- Participate in cross-institution workgroups/committees that aim to discuss, align and propose principles for harmonised SOP/frameworks for C&B matters relating to medical staff. This may include salary/bonus reviews, terms and conditions relating to salary components, and other alignment required across institutions.
- Support Group representatives and institution-level HR colleagues in understanding policy changes, and assist in preparing materials and analysis to facilitate discussions and decision-making.
- Assist in preparing recommendations and documentation required for Senior Management approvals.
General C&B
- Assist in C&B projects by preparing data, running simulations and supporting implementation activities under the guidance of senior team members.
- Conduct research and analysis on compensation statistics, market sentiments and market practices to support C&B strategies. Keep abreast of local C&B best practices and legislative changes.
- Support the Policy team in reviewing Group HR policies and HR information systems to ensure alignment with changes to C&B programmes affecting medical staff.
- Provide administrative and analytical support for the renewal of agreements with the Group Education office and the establishment of norm rates for teaching services.
- Participate in ad-hoc HR projects and activities at the Group HR level as required, such as group budgeting systems.
Education/Training/Experience
- Min Degree in HR Related field / Business Admin or equivalent
- At least 2-3 years relevant working experience in the area of Compensation & Benefits, and experience in healthcare is preferred
- Basic knowledge of total rewards concepts including salary structures, salary reviews, market benchmarking.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with advanced skills in Excel preferred
- Knowledge in local employment laws and regulations such as Employment Act, Industrial Relations Act etc is preferred.
