About this Role
The Project Engineer is responsible for achieving project objectives within the defined time and cost framework while ensuring full delivery scope and quality. This role involves comprehensive project management, technical verification, and stakeholder communication to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project execution.
This role will be based in Singapore, is part of the Operation Excellence Department ( Project Execution Team ) and reports to the Project Manager.
The main tasks and responsibilities are
Project Objectives & Delivery
- Achieve project objectives within the defined time and cost framework.
- Ensure the delivery scope and quality meet the desired standards.
- Ensure project scope and quality meet customer and internal expectations.
- Identify project risks and manage project risks
Customer & Stakeholder Liaison
- Liaise with the Customer, End User, and/or appointed Engineering Contractor.
- Ensure technical compliance with specifications.
- Technically verify customer requirements for order processing.
- Collaboration with relevant internal stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
Project Management & Execution
- Execute engineering and design activities in accordance with customer specifications, industry standards, and internal quality guidelines.
- Manage quality assurance processes including Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), and customer approvals.
- Oversee and support on-site activities such as system installation, construction supervision, and commissioning.
- Manage projects within budget and on schedule until customer acceptance and handover.
- Oversee tender evaluation and provide Project Management support.
- Source third-party components and manage subcontractors.
Documentation & Data Management
- Manage documentation required by the project.
Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor other project team members when necessary.
Progress Reporting
- Report regularly to the Project Department Manager on project progress.
Customer Satisfaction & Communication
- Ensure customer satisfaction through effective communication.
- Confer with customers and management on production capabilities, schedules, inspection activities, and issue resolution.
Additional Responsibilities
- Perform any other tasks required by the Company to support its business strategy.
Key Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- At least 3 years’ experience in Instrumentation and Automation/Control Engineering
- Proven track records and experience with project management and use of project management tools
- Good understanding of relevant Instrument knowledge
- Metering skids experience will be a Strong advantage
- Relevant Industry & Standards Exposure
- Enthusiastic, dynamic, and customer-oriented personality.

- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
- Familiarity with industry standards, codes, practices, and procedures relevant to the field.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
