Technical Kinaxis Rapid Response Consultant

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Technical Kinaxis RapidResponse Consultant to support and enhance our enterprise supply chain planning platform. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Kinaxis configuration, data modeling, supply and demand planning, system integrations, and performance optimization. This role will partner closely with Global IT, Supply Chain Planning, Manufacturing, and Engineering teams to deliver scalable and high-performing planning solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Kinaxis Configuration & Data Modeling

Design, configure, and maintain Kinaxis RapidResponse data models including Items, Locations, BOMs, Resources, and Calendars.

Develop and optimize measures, expressions, and planning logic.

Configure exception management, alerts, scenario planning, and time-phased planning views.

Ensure model scalability, maintainability, and performance.

Demand & Supply Planning

Configure demand planning models, forecasts, forecast consumption logic, and demand hierarchies.

Develop forecast accuracy and bias metrics.

Configure supply planning measures, inventory planning, capacity constraints, material availability, and lead-time logic.

Support supply-demand balancing, pegging, allocation, shortage analysis, and what-if scenario planning.

Integration & Data Management

Support integrations between Kinaxis and SAP S/4HANA, manufacturing systems, and master data platforms.

Collaborate with integration teams on data mapping, transformation, and load strategies.

Manage full and delta data loads, data validation, reconciliation, and issue resolution.

Monitor data refresh cycles and system performance.

Workspace & Reporting

Design and optimize workspaces, dashboards, and planning views for planners, management, and business stakeholders.

Build exception-driven and performance-optimized planning solutions.

Ensure reports and dashboards are easy to understand and troubleshoot.

Testing, Deployment & Support

Support Unit Testing, SIT, and UAT activities.

Troubleshoot planning, data, integration, and performance-related issues.

Participate in deployment, go-live, hypercare, and ongoing support activities.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

Hands-on experience with Kinaxis RapidResponse configuration and development.

Strong understanding of Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Capacity Planning, and Inventory Management.

Experience configuring demand and supply planning models in Kinaxis.

Experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP PP, MM, APO, or IBP integrations.

Knowledge of ERP master data structures, planning processes, and data governance.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

Kinaxis RapidResponse Certification.

Experience in Semiconductor, Electronics, or High-Tech Manufacturing industries.

Experience supporting global, multi-site planning environments
