Senior Product Consultant

The Senior Product Consultant is responsible for managing and coordinating the creation of offers and contracts for their product within the opportunity management process, particularly for larger airlines with corresponding complexity and the associated highest risks. This role involves close collaboration with the relevant sales, central, and production departments of Lufthansa Systems.
The tasks include:
- Independent analysis of customer requirements and intensive consultation with customers in defining and negotiating the desired and necessary offer and contract content (scope of services, modules, functionalities, services, SLAs, project plans, delivery dates, acceptance criteria, etc.)
- Responsible coordination of (minimum) prices and negotiation margins with Sales within the framework of the agreed sales and pricing strategy for the respective product/service
- Presentation of the product to customers on-site, at user forums, trade fairs, and conferences
- Independent and autonomous creation and maintenance of the Product Sales Kit (contract documents, offer documents, standard presentations, product information) in coordination with Sales Management and the responsible product and service owners
- Support of the Product Marketing Managers in creating and maintaining marketing materials, providing information for press releases and social media appearances
- Support in creating and maintaining business plans for the assigned products, especially regarding market requirements and the competition
- Support in organizing and conducting user forums
- Support in the execution Product training and events
- Onboarding of new Product Consultants
- Taking on special tasks
Requirements:
· At least 6 years of professional experience
· At least 3 years of professional experience as a Product Consultant or equivalent experience in a product- or customer-oriented environment
· Extensive, above-average process and product knowledge of the relevant airline Schedule and Slot Management area
· Excellent knowledge of the airline industry, its processes, regulations, structures, and IT systems
· Good knowledge of Lufthansa Systems products(NetLine Sched, Slot and/or SchedConnect) is an advantage
· Excellent communication skills, negotiation skills, and assertiveness, as well as strong customer and service orientation
· High level of social competence and ability to integrate well
· Very high level of commitment and initiative, resilience, and flexibility
· Self-managed independent behavior
· Strong willingness to take on responsibility and a pronounced ability to develop proposals ready for decision, taking into account company and economic principles
