IT Regulatory Officer (Anti-Scam) - JL

About the Role

My client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to support a national-level operations team working on anti-scam and online safety initiatives. This 1-year contract role offers exposure to regulatory operations, stakeholder engagement, data analysis, and research within a dynamic public sector environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily administrative and operational processes related to anti-scam initiatives
• Assist in coordinating communications with licensees and external stakeholders to obtain information and responses
• Collect, tabulate, organise, and maintain datasets to support reporting and management updates
• Prepare summaries and basic reports for senior management decision-making
• Conduct research on international best practices and benchmarking related to anti-scam, online safety, and related regulatory areas
• Support ongoing projects and assist in reviewing existing operational frameworks and initiatives
• Handle ad-hoc tasks and assignments as required by the team

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related disciplines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to engage and coordinate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
• Comfortable working with data, spreadsheets, and basic reporting tools
• Prior experience in regulatory, government, compliance, or policy environments is an advantage
• Interest or experience in online safety, consumer protection, or cybersecurity is a plus
• Open to Entry Level applicants with background in IT.
