Community Engagement Executive (Partnerships & Outreach) | Hill Street

Job Scope

• Proactively engage with diverse religious groups and grassroots organisations to strengthen partnerships and communication

• Foster partnerships with government agencies, community stakeholders, and private entities to strengthen social cohesion

• Serve as a secretariat , coordinating activities and programmes that promote inter-religious understanding , including through learning journeys and dialogues

• Evaluate engagement strategies and initiatives, and propose improvements to make community engagement more effective

• Coordinate support for national events such as Racial and Religious Harmony Month and Chingay

• Assist with administration duties for the Division.

Requirements:

• Degree holders, ideally with at least 1 year of working experience is preferred

• Good written and communication skills

• Strong acumen for data and financials and literacy skills (Microsoft Office software)

• Willing and able to assist with ad-hoc tasks

• Willing to work on evenings, weekends and/or after office hours engagements with community leaders

• Positive attitude and willing to learn

• Able to engage stakeholders and volunteers effectively

• High level of initiative with a strong sense of responsibility and commitment.

• Able to multi-task, work under tight schedules in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment

• Personal interest in building and strengthening community relationships.

Contract duration: 3 months (may be extended to maximum period of 1 year, subject to the work performance and client's prevailing needs)

Working Arrangement

• Mon – Thu: 8.30am to 6.00pm
• Fri: 8.30am to 5.30pm
• Hybrid working arrangement: Up to three days a week in office, if needed

Location: Hill Street

Salary: $3,320 to $4,500 (depending on experience)
