Job Summary
Asian Metal & Enggr Pte. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee and manage construction, metal fabrication, engineering, and maintenance projects from planning through completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for project execution, resource planning, client coordination, cost control, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage construction, engineering, metal works, and maintenance projects from inception to completion.
- Develop project schedules, work plans, and resource allocation strategies.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel.
- Monitor project progress, quality standards, and project milestones.
- Ensure projects are completed within budget and contractual requirements.
- Manage procurement planning and material requirements for ongoing projects.
- Review project drawings, specifications, and technical requirements.
- Conduct regular project meetings and prepare management reports.
- Monitor project costs, variations, claims, and contractual obligations.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Resolve project-related issues and provide effective solutions to operational challenges.
- Supervise project teams and ensure efficient manpower deployment.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and business partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant project management experience in construction, engineering, metal works, or related industries.
- Strong understanding of project planning, budgeting, procurement, and contract administration.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Good leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and project management tools.
- Knowledge of Singapore construction practices, workplace safety requirements, and project documentation processes will be an advantage.
Salary Range
S$6,500 – S$9500 per month
