About the Role

Acez Instruments Pte Ltd is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Production Planner & Scheduler to develop and manage production plans that ensure efficient workflow, timely delivery, and optimal resource utilisation. This role requires close coordination with multiple departments to support smooth production operations and meet customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain integrated production plans and schedules to meet customer orders and delivery timelines

  • Translate sales orders and forecasts into work orders, production sequences, and shopfloor schedules

  • Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, QA/QC, and Production teams to ensure smooth workflow and on-time completion

  • Monitor production progress, identify delays, and take proactive actions to resolve bottlenecks

  • Ensure availability of materials, components, and resources in alignment with production schedules

  • Plan and schedule inspection, calibration, and testing activities in compliance with Ex-proof standards (e.g., IECEx / ATEX)

  • Maintain accurate data in Synergix ERP systems

  • Communicate regularly with Sales and Customer Service on order status and delivery commitments

  • Analyze production performance and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce lead times

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or related field

  • 2–5 years of experience in production planning and/or scheduling in a manufacturing environment

  • Experience in instrumentation, oil & gas equipment, or precision engineering is an advantage

  • Strong understanding of ERP systems and production workflows

  • Good knowledge of manufacturing processes (machining, assembly, testing, calibration)

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond quickly to changes

  • Strong communication and coordination skills across departments

  • Detail-oriented with good analytical and problem-solving abilities
