About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Area Manager to join our growing Facilities Management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing client relationships, securing new contracts, and expanding our market presence in the cleaning and security services sectors.

This role is ideal for an experienced sales professional with a strong network in facilities management, commercial cleaning, security services, property management, or related industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
  • Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities in cleaning and security services.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, property management companies, MCSTs, government agencies, and commercial customers.
  • Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations, proposals, and tender submissions.
  • Conduct site surveys and collaborate with operations teams to develop competitive service solutions.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract award and account handover.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and CRM records.
  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets established by management.
  • Support contract renewals and upselling opportunities with existing clients.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of proven sales experience in facilities management, cleaning services, security services, environmental services, or a related industry.
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of the Singapore facilities management and security industry.
  • Experience in government tenders, commercial contracts, and service-based sales will be advantageous.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong business development and relationship management capabilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems.

Preferred Certifications

Candidates should possess relevant WSQ certifications, such as:

  • WSQ Certificate in Sales and Customer Service
  • WSQ Higher Certificate in Facilities Management
  • WSQ Security Industry-related certifications
  • WSQ Environmental Cleaning-related certifications
  • Other relevant Workforce Skills Qualifications (WSQ) certifications related to sales, facilities management, cleaning, or security operations
