Middleware Engineer (Batch Operation) (Ref 105)

The successful candidate will be a batch operation engineer that will work with IT teams to provide operation and project support. To communicate well with both internal and external partners.

PRIMARYRESPONSIBILITIES

• Batch Operation Support to BAU operation and project internally.
• To do operation support (Perform batch job deployment, batch job configure update, batch job execution and recovery)
• Participate and actively contribute to solution discussion for batch requirement
• Engineer to leverage on platform and available capability to optimize operation efficiency. Support application deployment.
• To follow the duty roaster to standby for out-of-office hour support. Some operation support is 24x7 (production incident, deployment to production, patching, support).

REQUIREMENT:

• At least 1 year of experience in batch operation support or equivalent
• Experience in ActiveBatch or similar batch scheduler platform
• Shell scripting or programming knowledge or SQL is an added experience
• Working background in Windows, Unix, Linux and Automation concept
