Business Development Manager

Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) industry.
- Build, develop, and maintain strong relationships with key clients, event organizers, and industry stakeholders.
- Plan and implement effective sales strategies to achieve or exceed revenue targets.
- Promote a comprehensive range of MICE services, including event space, catering, and technical solutions.
- Monitor market trends and industry developments to uncover growth opportunities.
Event Coordination Support
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless planning and execution of events.
- Assist clients throughout the event lifecycle, from initial inquiry to post-event evaluation.
- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of event requirements.
Client Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
- Conduct site inspections, deliver presentations, and prepare proposals for prospective clients.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms in accordance with organizational policies.
- Provide tailored solutions that align with clients’ event objectives and deliver a high-quality experience.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related discipline.
- At least 3–5 years of sales experience within the MICE or hospitality industry, with a consistent record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong skills in negotiation, presentation, and communication.
- Solid understanding of the MICE landscape, including current market trends and client expectations.
- Proven ability to build and sustain long-term client relationships while delivering tailored, client-centric solutions.
- Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strategic thinker who can work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences and creating positive client outcomes.
- A collaborative team player who takes ownership of responsibilities and contributes proactively.
- Willing to support cross-functional initiatives and adapt to evolving business needs.
- Positive attitude with a good sense of humor and approachable demeanor.
