Your Role
We are seeking an experienced BIM Specialist to join our Singapore team. In this role, you will support and lead project-level BIM implementation across design and delivery phases, helping teams establish robust digital workflows, maintain model quality, coordinate with consultants, and apply Gensler’s BIM standards in alignment with project requirements.
You will work closely with project teams, studio leaders, consultants, contractors, and Regional Design Technology leadership to support BIM Execution Plans, model coordination, information management, and digital delivery excellence. The ideal candidate is technically strong, highly collaborative, and confident in translating BIM requirements into practical workflows that improve project delivery, coordination, and design quality. Singapore Digital Delivery Context
In Singapore, digital delivery is increasingly shaped by BCA’s Integrated Digital Delivery framework, CORENET X, BIM-enabled coordination, and structured information exchange. This role will support project teams in aligning Gensler’s global BIM standards with local project, consultant, client, and regulatory requirements.
What You Will Do
- Support and lead design teams on project-level BIM implementation across all phases of design and delivery.
- Support Singapore-specific digital delivery requirements, including BCA IDD, CORENET X, IFC/IFC+SG workflows, and authority submission coordination where applicable;
- Mentor and train project teams on BIM standards, model management, collaboration protocols, and best practices.
- Develop, maintain, and implement project-specific BIM Execution Plans and/or Exchange Information Requirements (EIR) based on Gensler standards and client/project requirements.
- Set up and manage Revit project environments, including templates, coordinates, linked models, worksets, shared parameters, sheets, schedules, and model exchange workflows;
- Perform regular model audits, health checks, clash reviews, and model performance optimization;
- Coordinate BIM workflows with internal design teams, external consultants, contractors, client representatives, and client’s BIM teams;
- Support model federation, interdisciplinary coordination, issue tracking, and clash resolution using tools such as Autodesk Forma/ACC/BIM 360, and Navisworks;
- Monitor and report on model quality, project BIM metrics, and digital delivery progress;
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows through automation, computational design, interoperability, and data-informed project delivery;
- Partner with Regional Design Technology leadership to share lessons learned, improve standards, and promote consistent BIM practices across projects.
Your Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and/or Engineering and prior work experience in the construction industry;
- Minimum 5 years of experience in BIM, digital design, or project delivery within architecture, interior design, engineering, or construction;
- Familiarity with Singapore BIM requirements, BCA IDD, CORENET X, IFC/IFC+SG, and authority submission workflows is preferred;
- Expert knowledge of and proven practical background in Autodesk Revit Architecture and other related Building Information Modeling software, including Forma/ACC/BIM360 collaboration, Navisworks for coordination & clash resolution workflows;
- Good understanding of ISO 19650 principles and information management workflows;
- Ability to communicate BIM and Design Technology concepts clearly to designers, project managers, consultants, and leadership;
- Familiarity and preferably some experience with Computational Design applications such as Dynamo, Rhino/Grasshopper, etc.
- Familiarity with Performance Design applications such as Climate Studio, EC3, Fenestra Pro, Ladybug Tools or other design technology workflows;
- Familiarity with QA/QC tools such as Solibri for model checking and validation;
- Experience working in Architecture or Interior Design practices, with detailed knowledge of project processes, milestones and deliverables;
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage competing project demands;
- Positive, collaborative, reliable, and proactive approach to supporting project teams;
- Punctual, able to adhere to deadlines, and have a strong work ethic.
