Staff Process Engineer

Join a dynamic team as a crucial link between engineering and manufacturing operations. In this role, you will oversee complex semiconductor processes, ensuring timely and quality delivery of technical specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate tasks between internal teams and external manufacturing partners to achieve timely project completion aligned with product release schedules.
  • Address and resolve technical challenges by collaborating with internal engineers and external foundry personnel to deliver high-performance, manufacturable semiconductor processes.
  • Assist in planning and conducting analyses to tackle process-related challenges.
  • Ensure timely qualification phases and documentation for first-time-right manufacturing processes.
  • Provide technical insights to guide process development, enhancing collaboration both within and outside the department.
  • Conduct theoretical studies when necessary to optimize process performance for efficient development and ramp-up.
  • Work closely with device engineering and foundry teams to facilitate successful process design and ensure reliability and modeling efficiency.
  • Continuously refine engineering processes and standard work to improve deliverable quality and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate on qualification transitions, yield enhancement efforts, and high-volume production maintenance as needed.
  • Define the roadmap for RF process technology in response to internal designs, market trends, and customer requirements.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, with at least 5 years in technical and/or project management.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Strong experience in semiconductor process engineering is highly preferred.
  • Proficient in data analysis, with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Cadence Layout tools.
  • Extensive experience in improving process stability (CP/CPK) and yield (DFM/DFY) within RF processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead technical processes effectively across product teams and engineering divisions.
