Global Supply Chain Manager

As a Global Supply Management Consultant, you will be responsible for providing procurement expertise to ensure optimized supply chain strategies across multiple LOBs and platforms within Dell Infrastructure Solutions Group.

You will:


•Work as Supply Management lead for Enterprise SSD acting as a single point of contact on supply related topics with Commodity demand planning team, Drive Engineering team, Global Materials, Procurement and Inventory Finance, RevOps, Product Management teams


•Be supply management champion with external partners (suppliers, distributors and brokers) championing Dell needs across categories (QLC, E3 TLC, U2 TLC etc.) to drive meaningful supply decisions in line with Dell demand

•Track and report overall LTA status by category and by supplier to WWP leadership and other cross functional stakeholders by developing and updating executive ready collaterals. Build and nurture relationships with suppliers and third-party partners (distributors and brokers) to discover incremental /new supply opportunities to meet ever increasing Dell demand

•Own SSD EoQ inventory and Aging inventory tracking and reporting and ensure complete alignment with Inventory Finance and Global Inventory Management teams for everyone to refer to as one source of truth

•Be the change agent for the team on all Procurement modernization initiatives focused on GSM function namely TAM Optimizer, Aera modules, DCOS and Digital Inventory and drive complete adoption for Enterprise SSD WWP team. Represent procurement on multi-party stakeholder discussions to ensure supply market feedback is incorporated to help manage/reduce supply chain complexity

•Hold strategic discussions with suppliers to capture market intelligence on competitor purchase activity, large deals / bids in the market to understand Dell’s relative positioning in the constrained SSD market

Essential Requirements


•8 to 12 years of relevant experience in procurement, supply chain, operations


•Excellent understanding of technology supply chain, including partner landscape and capabilities

•Strong understanding of competitor landscape including OEMs and hyperscalers

•Favorable understanding of AI infrastructure value chain including understanding of current and future supply bottlenecks

•Robust program and project management skills

•Deep market research and trends knowledge; as well as a sound understanding of business goals, strategies, and current industry trends

Desirable Requirements


•Masters’ Degree in Supply Chain Management / Procurement (MBA preferred)

•Experience working with Enterprise OEM or Hyperscaler in procurement / supply chain management function
