The Opportunity
We're looking for a Utility Technician to be the engine behind our production floor logistics — managing raw material flow, inventory accuracy, and supply continuity so our lines never miss a beat.
What You'll Do
- Request, receive, and issue raw materials (ink, cartons, webs, needles, cannula, labels) based on production schedules
- Ensure continuous supply of component parts and prepare silicon/silicon intermediates for assembly machines
- Transfer scrap to designated areas and prepare finished parts for transfer
- Verify correct and approved raw materials for production lines; reconcile physical vs. system quantities
- Conduct inventory cycle counts, investigate variances, and update systems upon approval
- Manage label control — monitor usage, handle scrap, and update records
- Return excess materials to warehouse; monitor safety stock and raise purchase requisitions as needed
- Maintain housekeeping and cleanliness of work areas
- Participate in team meetings, performance reviews, and improvement projects
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards (ISO 14001)
What You'll Bring
- Minimum 2 years' relevant experience preferred
- Proficiency in English (oral and written)
- Basic computer literacy; proficient in Microsoft Office
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills with attention to detail
Preferred Skills
- Experience in inventory management and preventive maintenance
- Familiarity with SAP & MES systems
