The Opportunity

We're looking for an Automation Specialist (Electrical) to be the technical backbone of our production floor — leading machine enhancement, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and technician development to keep our lines running at peak performance.

What You'll Do

  • Maintain and optimise machines to meet production output, quality, and waste targets
  • Execute preventive maintenance (cleaning, servicing, component replacement)
  • Diagnose and resolve machine faults to meet safety and quality standards
  • Initiate and implement machine enhancement projects
  • Author Standard Work Instructions for assigned processes
  • Drive Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA)
  • Train and coach Technicians and new hires on machine operations
  • Support Engineers and SMEs on Continuous Improvement initiatives

What You'll Bring

  • 1–2 years' experience in Electrical Control & Automation in manufacturing
  • Ability to interpret electrical, electronic, and pneumatic schematic diagrams
  • Troubleshooting skills for electrical, electronic, and pneumatic components on production machinery
  • Sound knowledge of sensors (reflective, proximity, etc.) and switches for assembly line applications
  • Basic knowledge of PLCs (e.g., Omron, Allen Bradley) — an advantage
  • Familiarity with electrical hardware (HMI, motors, controllers) and industrial vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence)

Shift Commitment

  • Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 12-hour rotation (3/4/4/3 pattern)
  • Training Period: Day Shift, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
