Safety Coordinator

Requirements:

WSQ Advanced Certificate in WSH or equivalent

Minimum 2 years of relevant construction or utilities experience preferred

Experience in underground cable, civil works, excavation, or road works will be an advantage

Familiar with Risk Assessment, Safe Work Procedures, Permit-to-Work, toolbox meetings, and site safety documentation

Able to work at project sites, including night works or weekend works when required

Good communication and coordination skills

Main Duties:

Conduct daily site safety inspections

Carry out toolbox meetings and safety briefings

Ensure compliance with Risk Assessments and Method Statements

Monitor excavation, lifting, traffic control, cable laying, and machinery activities

Maintain WSH records and safety documentation

Report and investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions

Liaise with project teams, subcontractors, clients, and authorities on safety matters

Entry level (1-3 years): $2,500 - $3,500

Mid Level/ Senior (4+ Years): $4,000 - $5,500
