Wintel Engineer

We are seeking a Wintel Engineer to manage, support, and modernize Windows-based infrastructure across on-premises environments. This role combines day-to-day operations with transformation initiatives, ensuring high availability, performance, and continuous improvement of enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and support Windows Server environments (installation, configuration, patching, upgrades)
• Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and core infrastructure services
• Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity; troubleshoot incidents and problems
• Perform server provisioning, hardening, and lifecycle management
• Support virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware/Hyper-V)
• Implement security best practices, vulnerability remediation, and compliance controls
• Execute backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures
• Participate in infrastructure transformation initiatives (automation, optimization, cloud readiness)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors for issue resolution and project delivery
• Maintain documentation and operational procedures

Requirements

• 3–7+ years of experience in Wintel / Windows infrastructure support
• Strong hands-on expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, and core network services
• Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware or Hyper-V)
• Familiarity with patching tools, monitoring systems, and backup solutions
• Exposure to automation (PowerShell) and infrastructure improvement initiatives
• Understanding of ITIL processes (incident, change, problem management)
• Good troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience in infrastructure transformation or cloud migration projects
• Knowledge of security frameworks and system hardening
• Certifications (e.g., Microsoft, VMware, ITIL) are a plus
