On top of the Australian cafe and restaurant concept, we also have Spanish, Taiwanese and Japanese restaurant concepts.
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Italian Chef to support daily kitchen operations and lead the team in delivering authentic Italian dining experiences.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations
- Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure smooth service operations
- Ensure food quality, consistency, presentation, and hygiene standards are maintained
- Conduct training and guidance for junior kitchen staff
- Monitor inventory, stock ordering, and food cost control
- Ensure proper kitchen scheduling and manpower planning together with management
- Support menu development and seasonal promotions
- Ensure compliance with SFA food safety and workplace safety regulations
- Handle kitchen issues efficiently during peak service periods
Requirements
- Minimum 4–5 years of experience in Italian cuisine, with leadership experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of Italian cooking techniques and kitchen operations
