COENS Energy Pte Ltd is currently partnering with a premier, long-established Singapore Engineering Group to identify a high-caliber Technical Sales Engineer / Executive for their specialized marine and power plant vertical.

Our client operates as a highly respected group of companies with regional entities in Indonesia and China. They serve as the authorized Singapore distributor and partner for world-renowned European engineering brands, specializing in advanced engine room auxiliary equipment, high-performance fluid filtration systems, and RO watermakers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Nurture and expand relationships within an established client base of ship owners, fleet operators, and power plant facilities in Singapore.

  • Actively identify new project leads, conduct technical presentations, and convert market inquiries into sales orders.

  • Serve as a consultative sales partner on advanced fluid handling, specialized products, and engineered solutions. Conduct regular visits to client offices, technical managers, power plants, and shipyards to provide product demonstrations and technical clarifications.

  • Manage the end-to-end sales cycle, including handling technical inquiries, preparing precise commercial proposals, and ensuring robust post-sales support.

  • Monitor market trends across the maritime and energy sectors to identify emerging retrofit, maintenance, or new-build opportunities.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of successful B2B technical sales experience, specifically within the Marine, Offshore, Oil & Gas, or Power Plant sectors.

  • Previous or current experience managing specialized products and complex engineered solutions specifically tailored for power plants and power generation facilities is highly preferred.

  • Strong familiarity with fluid systems, filtration mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, or auxiliary engine room equipment is highly valued.

  • An existing network of warm relationships with Technical Superintendents, Fleet Managers, Shipyard Procurement Teams, or Power Plant Asset Managers in Singapore will give you an immediate advantage.

  • Results-oriented, highly motivated, possessing strong negotiation skills and a polished professional presentation.

  • Possession of a personal vehicle is highly preferred to facilitate regular client visits (An attractive transport allowance is provided).
