Freight Forwarding Executive
Salary: $3,500 - $4,000
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9.00am – 6.00pm
Location: Clementi
Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage import and export shipments, mainly sea freight operations
- Arrange bookings with shipping lines, freight agents, and logistics partners
- Prepare and process shipping documents, including Bill of Lading, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, and related documents
- Monitor shipment schedules and provide timely updates to customers
- Liaise with customers, carriers, transport providers, and relevant parties to ensure smooth shipment execution
- Support air freight operations and documentation when required
- Coordinate customs clearance and ensure compliance with import/export regulations
- Resolve shipment issues and operational discrepancies promptly
- Maintain accurate shipment records and operational reports
- Respond to customer enquiries and provide quality customer service
Requirements
- Diploma or equivalent qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field
- Experience in freight forwarding, shipping, logistics coordination, or import/export operations preferred
- Knowledge of sea freight operations is preferred; air freight exposure will be an advantage
- Familiar with shipping documentation and import/export procedures
- Good communication, coordination, and customer service skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
